Nice to meet ya, I’m mANDY

I’m a creative writer by day, amateur comedian/musician by night. When I’m not behind a word doc or a microphone, I’m usually watching Nacho Libre for the 298th time. Or eating a hot dog. One of the two.

When I was five years old I told everyone, when I grow up I want to be a writer.

Ha! Just kidding, I didn’t even know how to spell my name at that point. What I actually said was, “I want to be a bus driver” - mostly because Ms. Frizzle from The Magic School Bus was my idol (arguably still is, no shame). But hey, let’s take a moment to let that sink in. I think I speak on behalf of everyone who’s ever gotten into a car with me when I say, thank goodness I grabbed a pencil instead of the wheel.
